Become A Member

Fellowship Baptist Church is a fellowship of believers from all walks of life united by our desire to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We seek to disciple other believers so they might join us in the joy of sharing the perfect love of our Savior. Learn more about us on our Who We Are and  What We Believe Pages.

You do not need to become a member to worship and fellowship with us. We welcome everyone. Becoming a member demonstrates your commitment to serving our Lord Jesus actively in His earthly ministries and allows our staff and organization to make you a part of our church family.

If you desire to join with us and support the beliefs, fellowship, and mission of our church, we warmly invite you to become a member.

After the sermon of any worship service, a time of invitation is offered. One of our Ministers will invite those who desire to become members to come to the front of the Sanctuary. Membership may be granted in one of three methods:

Profession of faith

A public profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and acceptance of Him as your personal Savior. Upon which, we welcome you not only as a brother or sister in Christ, but also as a member of our church family. Baptism will follow your decision at the next scheduled Baptismal Service.

Transfer of membership from another Southern Baptist Church

If you are currently a member of another Southern Baptist Church, we will receive you as a member upon promise of a letter from that church. Our staff will contact that church to notify them of your decision and request your letter. A “letter” is a written (or electronic) communication verifying your membership at your previous church and moving your membership to Fellowship Baptist Church

Statement of faith

If you have previously made a public profession of faith, acknowledging that you have received Christ as your Savior and Lord, we will acknowledge that decision and welcome you to our family. If you have never been scriptural baptized (by immersion as a believer, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as a symbol of your salvation), you will want to be scheduled for a Baptismal Service.

After your decision in a worship service, information will be gathered for your membership including name, address, phone, e-mail, former church (if applicable), and other demographic information.
